About this retreat

Sunset Stretch & Sip - Wildfire Fundraiser Friday, September 18th 6:00 PM at Perch Winery, Vernon BC Picture this: golden hour light over the vines, a full class of open hearts moving together, and a glass of wine waiting for you at the end of your mat. This one's for our community. With wildfires touching so many of us this season, we're gathering for an outdoor yoga class with one purpose: to show up for the people, animals, and land that make this valley home. Certified yoga instructor Celena Winters will guide us through a gentle, grounding flow as the sun sets over Perch Winery, and every dollar raised goes directly to Forever Home Sanctuary . Forever Home Sanctuary is a Vernon-based charity that's been on the front lines of this crisis, providing a safe haven for over 40 animals affected by the wildfires. They've coordinated rescues, sheltered displaced animals, and cared for creatures who had nowhere else to go. Some evacuated animals have already made it home. Others, like five little chickens, have found a new temporary nest at the sanctuary while their people rebuild. Forever Home Sanctuary continues to open its doors, for animals and people both. This class is by-donation. $20 minimum to register, with more donations welcome at the door. All proceeds go to Forever Home Sanctuary's wildfire relief efforts.
